Terence came to United States in December 2016 coming from Zimbabwe in Africa. He carries a deep passion to transform the lives of youth through activities that equip, empower and inspire them to realize their full potential. He founded zwTEENS in Zimbabwe an organization that was focused on life skills training for teenagers. Terence is a devout Christian and carries a desire to equip the young generation with the understanding and the applying of the Gospel to their lives.
Terence’s background is in the natural sciences. Being an introvert, he felt at home working in a laboratory with microorganisms and not people. God had other plans for him so after university he worked for a humanitarian organization. That included meeting beneficiaries and training with service providers. It was this unexpected turn of events that gave birth to zwTEENS and Terence’s desire to make a difference for teens.
When the opportunity came to be a co-director for the Boys of Valor program, Terence was already working with young boys as a Christian mentor for their spiritual journey. He brings to Young and Set Apart Global Ministries a vast experience of working with teenagers, a passion driven by an understanding that this is a calling more than anything. Growing up without a father figure in his life (his father lost his life in accident when Terence was 7 years old) he relates to a lot of the boys fighting to understand themselves in such a world.
Terence is married to his college sweetheart Snatra, and together they have 3 daughters Makayla, Malyssa and Marcia. Boys of Valor is my time with the guys, away from the loud house:) Every time when the mission is accomplished, I always go back home to my heartbeats! my girls!
Terence is also an avid writer, he is an expert author with ezine articles https://ezinearticles.com/expert/Terence_Phlint_Razerera/798301 and has several manuscript awaiting publication.
